Goose Pond Scout Reservation

Goose Pond Scout Reservation (GPSR) is one of the summer camps provided by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council. 14 boys from Troop 169 camped at Goose Pond, and every single one of them had a great time. This was Troop 169’s second year at GPSR, and it was just as fun as the first time. Again, the counselors were great, most areas had fun patrol activities, and there were plenty of activities to do during free time.  These activities included stand-up paddleboarding, branding (non-living things, as they specified), deep fryers (one night only), black powder rifles, shotguns, small boat sailing, kayaks, canoes, and much more. The food at Goose Pond was decent, and the central showerhouse boasted real bathrooms and hot showers. The campfires were funny and the after dark activities, as well as the outposts, were enjoyable. Our second experience here at Goose Pond was just as fun the first time. Follow the link below to go to GPSR’s webpage-http://gpsr.nepabsa.org/index.html
